Phenylephrine

Phenylephrine is a fast-acting vasoconstrictor used as an antidote for Tri-Mix–related priapism (a prolonged, unwanted erection). It works by narrowing blood vessels, helping to restore normal blood flow and resolve the erection safely.

This medication is administered via intracavernosal injection under the direction of a licensed medical provider. It is intended for emergency use only in the rare case that a Tri-Mix injection causes an erection lasting longer than 4 hours.
